Michaela Pluskovich
Mediator, Parent Coach
Michaela is a certified parent coach, mediator, and mom to two girls. Originally from Vienna, Austria, and having lived in California since 2010, she is fluent in both, English and German, and able to provide support and conduct her services in either language.
With an educational background in Law and Peace & Conflict Studies, Michaela developed a passion to apply her skills in conflict resolutions to her personal life. When pregnant with her first child her interest in developing stronger communication skills to use with her child propelled her to take further trainings in the area of Nonviolent Communication, family and divorce mediation and she started volunteering as a community mediator in San Francisco. Realizing the transformative impact these conflict resolutions skills can have on personal relationships and family dynamics, Michaela assisted with parenting workshops, lead by experienced communication & parenting coaches until she soon went on her own path to become a certified parent coach. Michaela now offers conflict resolution coaching through mediation as well as her own workshop series based on the world-renowned model of Dr. Thomas Gordon's Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.).
